….“I’ve sat on the other side of the table from some of our current and former politicians in Washington asking for smart, common-sense legislation, tax policy and regulation. I have seen the blank stares, apathy and lack of recognition of the effect Washington policies have on the everyday American’s life – and wallet! Our political process and many of our elected representatives have truly lost touch with the people, the people’s views and the people’s situations they should be representing. We need real citizen representation. We need Representatives that are regular people with real connection to the regular world – this is why I am running for Congress!”….
