Mollohan and the Liberals have been hard at work passing a historic, in size, spending “stimulus” package and Federal budget. Daily, they look for ways to spend more of your money through more bailouts, bigger welfare entitlements, pork projects and even through notoriously bad ideas like reparations for slavery. Their hard work with your hard earned money creates the largest national debt and the largest redistribution of your tax dollars that the nation has ever suffered.
The Liberal’s actions put the entire fabric of our free-market, representative Democracy at risk. We are facing a society where the Federal Government runs virtually every segment of the economy from banks and mortgage companies, financial institutions, auto manufacturing to insurance companies.
In addition, the Liberals seek to impose a European style national sales tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), which will increase the cost of all goods nationwide. You will pay more for eggs, milk, gas and all goods and services you buy. The Federal Government will continue to seek more control of your money!

Conservative Solutions to Control Healthcare Costs:
- Reform the income tax code and interstate insurance law, including tort reform, to incent and promote private solution competition, portability of coverage and protect the individual State roles.
- Eliminate the bureaucratic waste and fraud in Medicare and Medicaid.
- Promote and support the individual State high-risk health insurance pools.
We must oppose any move by the Liberals to put more government bureaucracy between you and your family’s health care. Our government must promote and encourage competition among private sector solutions and focus on eliminating the massive waste from the existing public entitlement programs, for those who need them, like Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security.
We do not need a Federal Government mismanaged, nationalized, universal welfare-care program funded by more of your money. Under this plan, many with private coverage will be forced to the government plan. Millions of illegal aliens will be covered, with your money, as if they were American citizens.
Mollohan and the Liberals want to put the personal health decisions for your family into the hands of government agencies and bureaucrats. This universal welfare-care solution will force you to pay higher taxes for lower quality care, take away free choice, take away private company solutions, take away jobs and will with certainly take away your control over your family’s health.

- Grow America’s energy supply from all sources: coal, solar, wind, geothermal, hydropower, natural gas, nuclear and domestic oil.
- Reduce demand for fossil fuels through increased incentives for conservation and use of new technology.
Energy is critical to our American way of life. Energy independence is not just a matter of securing the quality of life we lead, but ensuring our national security. As a country, we need to be producing more energy, not less. The Liberals want to impose the cap-and-trade “light switch” tax on the energy you use. The liberal green agenda would have us focused solely on energy sources that are, in their eyes, environmentally “friendly”. Cap-and-trade will cap prosperity for America and trade American jobs overseas. Cap and trade is an energy tax. It\'s that simple. It is an effort to make energy from oil, gas and coal more expensive for the average American, so that we use less. It is not a solution. It\'s a recipe for killing jobs and prosperity.
We must utilize all of our available resources to produce the energy this country needs. We need more nuclear reactors producing electricity. We need to produce more of our own oil, gas and coal. We need to add to our capacity through more wind and solar. We can and must do it all.

Elections do matter! Mollohan and the liberals are in full support of Obama as a “transformational” President who seeks to “remake” America. Their real plan is to impose European-style, San Francisco fringe ideology as our National policy. The Liberals are pushing through amnesty and full citizenship for tens of millions of illegal aliens now in this country. They seek an America without protected borders where all who desire can enter, and be provided for, without regard for our laws. This move will transform our country forever.
The Liberals seek to have open and unconditional dialogue with terrorist and rogue nations when they should be seeking to isolate, marginalize and destroy threats to the United States and our allies. Abortion
Conservatives believe in the sanctity and protection of the un-born, are strongly pro-life and anti-abortion.
Mollohan and the Liberals with the vehemently pro-abortion Pelosi/Obama gang are seeking to entrench abortion as an accepted, normal, protected right of society and impose these beliefs into your life. We must combat their moves to appoint pro-abortion judges, the spending of our taxes, here and abroad, to promote and fund abortion and fervently oppose and eliminate the Liberal protected practice of partial birth abortion.
Marriage
The traditional family is the bedrock of the American way of life. The foundation of family is marriage. Marriage is a state that cannot be redefined progressively as the liberal Democrats see fit. Marriage is between a man and a woman and must be protected.
The Mollohan/Pelosi/Obama gang would have you think that it is socially unfair and morally outdated to consider marriage as being between a man and a woman. This is not so! Our society already provides for unique personal relationships, which do not fit within the institution of marriage, through contracts, legal arrangements and personal private freedoms. We must not allow Mollohan and the Liberals to redefine marriage to fit their view of what is politically correct.
Gun Owner Rights
The right to keep and bear arms is not about the kind of gun owned or whether it is used for sport, hunting or protection. It is an inherent right for citizens of the United States that must be protected for all legal, law-abiding citizens without intrusion by the government.
“In God We Trust”
It is an undeniable fact that individuals of faith founded the United States of America under the principles of Christianity. Today we are a nation that is still predominately Christian. However, we are a nation that welcomes and permits individuals of all legitimate faiths to freely practice their own religion. We do separate the operation of government from the mechanisms of religion. We expect and value the separation of Church and State but do not permit, as a society, the separation of our values from the State. Our elected officials have an obligation to uphold the values of our nation’s Christian heritage and belief system.
It is inherently untrue and insulting to the citizens of the United States for the Mollohan/Pelosi/Obama gang to tell the world, particularly the Muslim world, that this country is not a Christian nation. The Liberals desire to appease the godless left and pander to the radical Islamic community. Disturbingly, this has the liberal establishment running headlong from our Christian based reality. We must stand against the falsehood that we, as a nation, are one of the largest Muslim countries and no longer a Christian society. Our elected officials must defend your values.

It is all about the economy! We must focus on how to move it forward, jump start job creation and begin attracting our best and brightest their skills, energy, passion and commitment to WV back to the Mountain State – back to their family, friends and neighbors.
Most employers in West Virginia are small businesses. There are no Fortune 1000, 500 or Fortune 100 companies based in WV. With that fact in mind, providing an environment for small business growth begins with coordinating local, state and federal government, corporate, manufacturing and the Investment communities. The following small business expansion initiatives could be implemented to improve small business job creation:
* A "payroll" tax holiday for employers and employees followed by a permanent reduction in the payroll tax rate.
* Abolish the state income tax in a phase-out process.
* Accelerate deductions and write-offs for equipment purchases.
* Benefit employers with incentive credits for “permanent, full-time” hiring with additional state and local incentives for hiring WV workers.
* Bring down federal individual income tax brackets. Most small businesses operate as proprietorships or corporations that ”pass-through” to the owners individual tax rate.
* Benefit tax deductions for small business and proprietors for purchase of individual health insurance and other individual benefits – what corporations receive for their group health plans and group benefits.
* Contain energy cost for manufacturers providing tax breaks, incentives and rebates to purchase WV produced energy for manufacturing within the State with additional state and local incentives for expanding and hiring WV workers.
* Constrain the state sales tax providing for sales tax “holidays” and permanent reductions.
* Concentrate on public perception of the State with public relations and media.
Showing improvement in the overall economy and jobs market will allow focus and improvement in housing, standard and cost of living, education, entertainment and public sentiment toward the State.
